🛠️ Getting Started

1. Onboarding

When you first sign up for Rothr, you will be guided through a quick onboarding process:

  • Company Profile: Set your company name and logo (used in all candidate-facing content).

  • First Role: Create your first interview position by simply entering a job title.

  • Team Access: Invite teammates to collaborate and review candidates.

2. Integration Setup

To get the most out of Rothr, connect your existing tools in the Integrations tab:

  • Calendar: Sync Google Calendar, Outlook/Microsoft 365, or Zoom to automate scheduling and meeting link generation.

  • ATS: Connect Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby to pull in candidates and push back interview scores automatically.


💼 Role Management

A Role in Rothr represents a specific job position and its associated interview process.

Creating a Role with AI

  1. Job Title & Description: Enter the title. AI will draft a description if you don't have one.

  2. Competency Rubric: Rothr’s AI analyzes the role to identify key competencies (e.g., Problem Solving, Leadership, Technical Skill).

  3. Interview Questions: Alex will automatically generate a set of interview questions tailored to the rubric.

  4. Scoring Criteria: Clear, objective criteria are defined for each competency to ensure fair evaluation.

Interview Modes

  • Video Interview: The default mode, where candidates record video responses to AI-delivered questions.

  • Draft Mode: Allows you to refine your rubrics and questions before going live.

Candidates are invited via email and can take the interview at any time that suits them.

  • Alex, the AI Interviewer: ALEX introduces the role, asks follow-up questions based on the candidate's answers, and ensures a professional, stress-free experience.

Candidate Feedback

After the interview, Rothr can automatically send a personalized feedback report to the candidate. This builds your employer brand by ensuring no candidate is left in the "black hole" of recruitment.
